All-in-One Model: New iMac Arrives
Apple began sales of the new 2013 iMac, equipped with fourth-generation Intel quad-core processors, new graphics processors, and next-generation Wi-Fi, on September 24th through its directly managed Apple Stores and authorized retailers.

Supports Next-Generation Wi-Fi: Up to 3x Faster
This is the first new iMac to arrive in approximately 11 months, since its complete redesign last year. This marks the first time the fourth-generation Intel processor, codenamed "Haswell," has been installed in an iMac.
The 21.5-inch entry-level model "ME086J/A" features a 2.7 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor and new Iris Pro graphics. This configuration promises unprecedented overall graphics performance for an entry-level model from the company.
The 21.5-inch high-end model "ME087J/A" and the 27-inch models "ME088J/A" and "ME089J/A" are equipped with up to a 3.4 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics, offering double the video memory and up to 40% faster performance compared to the previous generation.
Another key feature of this update is the new support for next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi. When connected to Apple's AirMac Extreme base station or similar 802.11ac-compatible devices, users can experience wireless performance up to three times faster than with the previous iMac generation.
The design, with its thinnest point of just 5mm, remains unchanged.

As this update focuses solely on internal components, the exterior design and the number of Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 ports for peripheral connections remain the same.
