De'Longhi Japan will release two new oil heater models and four new ceramic fan heater models for Winter 2013 on Monday, September 2nd.

Oil Heaters Feature Eco Mode

Compared to other heating appliances, oil heaters offer benefits such as "no warm air means dust isn't blown around," "maintains humidity as it doesn't dry the air," "no risk of burns or fire," and "no need for fuel refills." In recent years, they have gained attention as a new staple for winter heating.

The new models from De'Longhi are the "Digital Radiant," positioned as the basic grade in their digital oil heater lineup, and the "Dragon Digital Smart," a feature-packed model of the higher-grade "Dragon Digital." Both models feature an "Eco Operation" mode that automatically selects the optimal power level and operates at a slightly lower temperature than the set point, achieving approximately 20% less power consumption compared to manual operation.

Ceramic Fan Heaters Feature a Renewed Design

The ceramic fan heaters have been redesigned, with four models being released simultaneously. The theme is "sophisticated Italian design," featuring a modern, flat aesthetic. The two digital models can be operated remotely with the included remote control.

Furthermore, the two digital models are equipped with an ECO Plus operating mode that automatically determines the optimal power level. Similar to the oil heaters, they operate at a slightly lower temperature than the set point. With microcomputer control for automatic power switching, there's no need to select the power level, suppressing power consumption by approximately 25% compared to manual operation.
