“PM2.5,” which also drifts to Japan and is reported daily in the news, consists of fine particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less, found in sources such as automobile exhaust. Because these particles can penetrate deep into the respiratory system, they are identified as pollutants that may cause health problems like asthma and pneumonia.
Balmuda equipped the JetClean air purifier, which boasts overwhelming suction power thanks to its specialized “Turbo Fan” and the high airflow “Green Fan” also used in circulators, with a dust collection performance evaluation test conducted by a third-party organization for particle sizes of 0.3㎛, 0.5㎛, 1.0㎛, 2.0㎛, and 2.5㎛, to verify its precise handling capabilities.
In an evaluation within a 1㎥ test space, equivalent to assessing the filter's performance itself, a removal rate of over 99% was confirmed for each particle size within one minute.

Furthermore, in an evaluation conducted in a clean room equivalent to a 16-tatami mat living space, the JetClean demonstrated high purification capability, removing over 90% of each particle size within 21 minutes.

Particles of various sizes were dispersed in a clean room of approximately 60㎥ (equivalent to 16 tatami mats), and purification capability was measured over 30 minutes. The initial concentration was set at 100%, and particle concentration was recorded at one-minute intervals. Evaluating body: Shin Nippon Air Technologies Co., Ltd.
The JetClean, which exhibits excellent removal performance even for virus-level microparticles of 0.3㎛, far smaller than pollen, will be a reliable ally for the coming season.
