The New "U" Coffee Maker

Nespresso will launch the "U," a coffee maker with a simple design and functionality that allows for flexible use depending on your space, on Tuesday, September 18th.

Program Three Coffee Types with Flat Operation Buttons

Named for its gently curved form, the "U" features a space-saving slide-open lid for the capsule compartment. The water tank can be slid 180 degrees to match your interior layout, allowing you to change the machine's profile. The drip tray is easily removable, and it's convenient that it can accommodate various cup sizes.

The streamlined top section houses operation buttons that can be pre-programmed for your preferred coffee volume, such as ristretto, espresso, or lungo. The flat, seamless buttons emphasize the "U's" simple design.

The machine begins brewing coffee about 30 seconds after activation. After brewing, used capsules automatically drop into the container without dripping, a new feature that enhances the coffee time experience.

Limited Edition Coffee "Crealto" Released September 12th (Wed.)

Joining Nespresso's 16 standard Grands Crus (capsule coffees), the limited edition "Crealto" for 2012 has arrived. Made exclusively from premium washed Arabica beans, it is characterized by its rounded notes and a remarkably long aftertaste. Slow roasting at low temperatures for three times the usual duration allows heat to penetrate the core of the coffee beans, resulting in a full-bodied, robust flavor.
