A model produced entirely by Tatsuo Sunaga

"TAPES" is an item that combines a nostalgic analog feel with contemporary needs. For those who grew up with cassette tapes, its design will be a fond memory, while for younger generations, it will appear refreshingly novel.

Its size is nearly identical to that of an actual cassette tape. A single full charge can power an iPhone 6 once. Utilizing a lithium-ion battery, it can be recharged and used approximately 500 times. A full charge takes about 2 to 3 hours.


Furthermore, "TAPES" offers collaboration models with artists. The first edition was produced by Tatsuo Sunaga, also known as "Record Bancho" (Record Boss).

The "TAPES × Organ b.SUITE ver" features a design that revives "Organ b.SUITE," a mix CD produced by Sunaga that sold 8,000 copies. This product will resonate with those who frequented record shops in the Udagawa-cho area from the 90s to the 2000s. Sunaga himself meticulously produced the body and index designs, reflecting his unique vision.

Regarding this collaboration, Sunaga commented, "My mix work "Organ b.SUITE," released underground over a decade ago, is being revived as a cutting-edge portable battery charger? It's hard to believe! From analog cassette to digital. This is a gadget that even Doraemon never featured. It seems the future we imagined has already arrived."


Additionally, to coincide with the release of the remake "Ghostbusters" in August 2016, a "TAPES" model themed around the movie was exclusively released at TOHO Cinemas.

The standard version comes in black and red. It also includes lettering stickers, essential for cassette tapes, allowing users to personalize their device. This playful touch adds to its charm, making it a gadget that can brighten up everyday life.
