"Timeless Design" Exhibition Held

At the "Miele Center Omotesando," the direct showroom of German luxury appliance brand Miele, an exhibition titled "Timeless Design" will be held, exploring the theme of "timeless style" through the resonance of three distinct styles. The exhibition runs from Saturday, October 26th to Monday, November 4th.

First Public Collage Exhibition in Japan
Founded in 1899, Miele, the German luxury appliance brand, has consistently researched and developed products that transcend culture, generations, and eras. Their minimalist design and functionality, based on the philosophy of "balance, simplicity, and elegance," are highly popular in Japan.

The Miele Center Omotesando, Miele's direct showroom, is a three-story space with a basement, designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma in 2011, envisioning "a new living space for the 21st century." Here, the "Radl Wall," a collage of works by international graphic designer Christoph Radl, creates a stunning harmony.

Christoph Radl, who has previously handled art direction and graphics for numerous brands including Armani, Ferragamo, Alessi, and Cassina, has created the "Radl Wall" for the first time in Japan. This collage, featuring approximately 280 works from the 1980s onwards, adorns the atrium space of the Miele Center Omotesando, which spans four floors.

This is a special space where Miele's precise yet elegant functionality in its "products," Kengo Kuma's "architecture" representing a new 21st-century living environment, and Radl's "art," which is both cutting-edge and timelessly fresh, resonate together. We invite you to experience this unique design collaboration, made possible by these three elements, firsthand.
