Limited edition products will also be available at DRILL DESIGN!
Four studios can be visited this time. DRILL DESIGN, based in an old house; JIN KURAMOTO STUDIO, a design office on the top floor with a great view in a building facing the Meguro River; HAPPA, an office, gallery, workshop, and dining space shared by four companies—a gallery, design shop, paint shop, and architectural design office; and YOTA KAKUDA DESIGN, located in an apartment unit over 40 years old.
Nakameguro is a neighborhood with a mix of offices and shops, as well as traditional residential areas. Four designers and architects active both domestically and internationally, who have studios in this area, are collaborating for the open studio tour "how studio" during Design Week.
The studios, where daily creative activities take place and numerous works are produced, will be open for just three days. Visitors can glimpse the production process, which is rarely seen, and attend talk sessions.
