A New Form of Villa Sharing – The Working Villa
“Nowhere but Akiya” Opens, Overlooking the Shonan Sea
Perched on a hill overlooking the sea, this villa boasts a 6-meter-high atrium ceiling, allowing guests to fully appreciate both the ocean and the sky.──Nowhere resort, which develops a new operational model of “sharing only when not in use” by renting villas from their owners, has opened “Nowhere but Akiya” in Akiya, Yokosuka City.

From Owned to Shared Villas: A New Form of Staycation Resort
Currently, villa owners in Japan use their properties only a few times a year. Nowhere resort’s concept of “shared villas” involves renting out the entire property for a week at a time when it’s not being used. The newly opened “Nowhere but Akiya” is a 180㎡ house where guests can relax as if it were their own home, with views of the beautiful Shonan sea. The 30-tatami mat roof balcony is a space suitable for home parties and events while feeling the sea breeze.
A Seaside Villa for Enjoying Life as if You Lived There
Nowhere resort also operates “Nowhere but Hayama,” a traditional Japanese wooden house in Hayama, Miura District, and “Nowhere but Sajima,” a three-story house in Sajima, Yokosuka City.
“Nowhere but Hayama” is an 80-year-old renovated Japanese house located next to the Imperial Villa in Hayama, directly facing Isshiki Beach. The second-floor balcony also features a jacuzzi with sea views.
“Nowhere but Sajima” is a newly built house that appears to float on the sea in Sajima, offering dynamic ocean views from every room. It also welcomes one dog per stay.
The rental period is from Friday to the following Thursday. The reference capacity is up to 4 people, but more may be possible depending on the facility. Rent the entire villa and use it as you please. Enjoy the villa life in a popular resort area.
