A New Lifestyle Aimed for by Proud and United Arrows

Yasuto Kamoshida of United Arrows, who led this project, explained the concept: "Our idea of comfort is something that's a little casual, suitable for everyday wear, where you can be barefoot, yet still possesses elegance and atmosphere. We explored what that would look like when translated into a space."

The concept room, embodying the ideals of Proud and United Arrows, is themed around a "comfortable home" and distills three core elements: "expressing oneself," "enjoying texture," and "pleasing the senses."

The design emphasizes stress-free living, with walls and ceilings seamlessly connected by the same material, a subdued color palette, and carefully selected interiors.





What constitutes a "comfortable home" is the ability to express oneself, much like styling an outfit. For instance, like a shop display, storage is intentionally open for books and clothing, allowing items to be showcased. Personal belongings and cherished items are boldly integrated as part of the interior design. The joy of living surrounded by things you love is pursued, including the pleasure of creating visual presentations within the limited space through "gaps."

Furthermore, the concept embraces the idea of enjoying textures through the consideration of aging and the enrichment of life by satisfying the senses with stress-free styling, valuing the expression of the resident's lifestyle and individuality.





The various storage solutions, designed with United Arrows' signature flair, are particularly striking. The open-design shoe closet, intended to prevent moisture buildup, features shelves accommodating boots and a writing bureau with lighting for shoe care.

The interior of the walk-in closet is lined with natural material wallpaper that beautifully complements clothing. For men, there are shelves for dry-cleaned garments, a hanger rack suited for suits, and belt hooks, while the women's section includes three tiers of paulownia wood trays at the top for kimonos.

Additionally, system storage, reminiscent of a United Arrows boutique, emphasizes functionality, allowing residents to fully enjoy the satisfaction of living surrounded by their favorite possessions.
