Under the concept of "Technology into Materials, Materials into Design," this unique event in Japan dedicated to CMF design offers a valuable opportunity for those in creative fields to explore new technologies and design possibilities.

An Exhibition Fostering Growth in Manufacturing and Interest

CMF is an acronym for Color, Material, and Finish. It refers to the three elements that constitute the surface of any tangible object: "Color," "Material," and "Finish (surface treatment)."

At the CMF design exhibition, nuanced finishes that are difficult to grasp by examining each element individually are presented through samples that combine these three elements, leading to new creations. Now in its fifth year, "AOFES" embodies the distinctive perspective of FEEL GOOD CREATION, a design firm specializing in CMF design. The exhibition is characterized by displays that facilitate inspiration for designers and creators.

Samples are presented as materials finished with specific colors and treatments, allowing visitors to experience the value of new surfaces directly linked to creation. The showcased samples incorporate colors and finishes utilizing Japan's superior craftsmanship, along with innovative materials, increasingly highlighting their importance in designing fashion, products, and spaces that offer high added value.
