Summer Arrangements: New York Style
Longing for the Sea, Expressed in Floral Design
I recently attended a symposium for the floral industry, which took me to Boston and New York. At this time of year, walking through the streets of New York, you can't help but notice designs themed around "coral."

Summer Arrangements Themed Around "Coral"
This is not the typical marine taste you might find in Japan. The English word "Nautical"—derived from the Greek for "navigation"—perfectly captures the nostalgia of the Age of Discovery. This motif is everywhere: in window displays, accessories, and interior items, as well as bedding and tableware. It's the unifying theme for the luxurious tastes of a New York summer.
From a Japanese perspective, opinions might differ on whether the branching structure of coral is aesthetically pleasing. However, these stylized designs, which embody the essence of luxury beyond mere logic, resonated deeply with me when I first moved to New York.
Mysterious yet playful forms, a unique and beautiful coral pink hue, and a consideration for ECO.──These are precisely what capture the hearts of New Yorkers.
Now, they are an indispensable element in FLORALUXE's summer arrangements and table styling.
