Porter Classic Creates the World's Finest Pawn Shop in Ginza
Katsuhiro Yoshida, representative of Porter Classic, was born in 1947. For many years, he has created numerous bags that are considered masterpieces, influencing not only the bag industry but also consistently leading the apparel industry. He is also famous for being the first Japanese person selected as a member of the "New York Designers Collective" in '81, and is known as a connoisseur.
The proprietor of the newly opened "PAWN SHOP" is, of course, Katsuhiro Yoshida. The treasures he has selected from domestic and international auctions and from his travels around the world are rare items that one may never see again. Under the slogan, "Porter Classic Creates the World's Finest Pawn Shop in Ginza," we draw attention to the precious watches, cameras, books, and other rare items gathered here.
"Oto no Shiho" Released by Porter Classic
The title of the book released by Porter Classic is "Oto no Shiho." It is a catalog book reflecting the ultimate hobbies of men, with the editorial theme being "Mastering manhood by discerning authenticity."
Following the "Four Treasures of the Study" (Bunbō Shihō), one of the four stationery items cherished by Chinese literati, "Oto no Shiho" is a hobby book that reflects all of a man's pursuits.
