"U.T. Palette," winner of the 2009 Good Design Award, is specially displayed in the show window of the Ginza Wako Main Building until Monday, November 16th.

This Weekend, Focus on the Wako Main Building's 1st Floor Show Window on the Harumi-dori Side
Flower Robotics' mannequin robot "Palette," now refined for mass production, began sales and rentals to the public in June of this year.
The "U.T. Palette," an upper-torso type of "Palette," is uniquely adorning the window, wearing jewelry sold at the "Gianmaria Buccellati: A World of Splendor" exhibition held at the Ginza Wako Main Building.
"Palette" proposes a new way to showcase products by transforming mannequins from static to dynamic. While the upper-torso type has primarily been exhibited overseas, including at the Museum of Decorative Arts within the Louvre Museum in Paris, this marks its first commercial store display in Japan. It's an opportunity to see a robot, poised to become a new industry in Japan, up close.
