A Collaboration Exhibition of Poetry and Art is Now On
Since its opening in November 2008, "NOW IDeA by UTRECHT" in Aoyama has hosted exhibitions welcoming a variety of artists.
It is an open space where you can experience the works of artists with different sensibilities each time you visit.

Poetry Reading Event Also Part of the Poetry and Art Collaboration Exhibition
Currently, we are holding an exhibition of poetry and art featuring the poet Junko Takahashi.
The poetry collection "Let's Go to the Dentist the Day After Tomorrow," published by Deco, features book design by Atsuki Kikuchi of bluemark.
It is a compact volume with a striking, vibrant blue cover.
Despite the book's lightness when handed to you, opening its pages gently nudges you forward, instantly drawing you into a boundless, open world.
As we conceived the exhibition ideas on NOW IDeA's open terrace,
the concept of creating works that could only be experienced here began to form.
Nine artists, active in various fields such as art direction, art, illustration, and photography,
read the poems included in the book and then freely created two-dimensional works.
After these works were created, Junko Takahashi wrote new poems inspired by them.
The resulting pieces, completed through this dialogue, are now on display at the venue.
The participating artists include Issei Kitagawa, Issei Hattori, Atsuki Kikuchi, Kento Koganezawa, Yukari Miyagi, Kasane Nogawa, Izumi Shiokawa, Hisae Maeda, and Noritake. This impressive lineup promises to deepen the resonance of their works through the addition of poetry.
Furthermore, to allow visitors to experience the fresh sensibility that intertwines with daily life in Junko Takahashi's poetry, we will hold a poetry reading event on the final day of the exhibition, with Atsuki Kikuchi also joining.
We believe this will be an accessible event even for those who rarely have the opportunity to engage with poetry.
