Idyllic Companions for All Ages, from Children to Adults

In 2007, beginning with a collaboration with Lladro, the Spanish porcelain art brand, Lladro Japan became the official authorized importer and distributor for Steiff in Japan.

As the first fruit of this relationship, the Steiff floor has debuted on the fifth floor of the Lladro Boutique Ginza Main Store. Here, a charming collection of stuffed animals, each exquisitely capturing the essence of its real-life counterpart, is gathered.



Steiff and Lladro share many commonalities, starting with their rich histories, which led to this project. In the future, Steiff Boutiques will open in department stores between 2011 and 2012.
The target customer base, in addition to children, will expand to adults, with a focus on living room displays. These items are poised to be embraced as "comforting goods" across all age groups.
