A Performance by "The Most Dashing Poet Today"!
Since publishing his poetry collection "Naked on the Veranda / Rabbits and Women" in the US in 2011, Sugawara-san quickly gained attention for his unique style of reciting poetry and his performances.
He gradually garnered popularity as the "overly dashing poet," but since 2014, his performances of "Poetic Weather Forecasts," where he poetically predicts the weather each night on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/sugawarab/videos), have drawn even more attention from fans.
Why did he choose the path of a poet? What is the real side of Sugawara-san that his poetry readings don't reveal? And what about his performances, which, despite being cool readings, somehow elicit chuckles?―This time, of course, he will also give a poetry performance!
THINK_42 welcomes Bin Sugawara, known as "the most dashing poet today," who will captivate your eyes and ears. We hope you will all look forward to it.

Poet. In 2011, he debuted with the release of his poetry collection "Naked on the Veranda / Rabbits and Women" from the American publisher PRE/POST, marking a reverse import debut. The book garnered attention from various circles as an artistic work realized through Bin Sugawara's "poetry collection" and contemporary artist Arashi Ito's "embroidery" (awarded 1st place in the "Most Dashing Book" category of the J-WAVE "PAGE by PAGE AWARD"). In 2013, a paperback edition of the aforementioned poetry collection was released by VOYAGER.
He is expanding his reach as a rising poet who expresses "poetry" beyond the written word, collaborating with diverse industries such as Nike, Starbucks, and Beams, reciting on radio and TV, taking over department store in-house announcements, contributing essays to newspapers and magazines, giving lectures, and performing at outdoor festivals. In April 2014, he succeeded in a radio program creation project (bayfm) to "buy airtime with crowdfunding" to bring his nightly YouTube video series "Poetic Weather Forecast" to radio. He raised over his target amount of 1.6 million yen and broadcast a month-long reading program every night, attracting attention across various media. On July 9th, he held the "Weather Forecast BEST20 Screening & Reading Event" at Shibuya Uplink to commemorate the 100th installment of "Poetic Weather Forecast."
