The talk project "THINK," which welcomes prominent figures active at the forefront of various fields, has reached its 40th installment. For this commemorative session, our guest is Aizawa Yosuke, the designer of "White Mountaineering."

Exploring Aizawa's Thoughts and Approach to Craftsmanship
"The field for wearing clothes is all outdoors."—This is one of the phrases that encapsulates the brand concept of White Mountaineering.
After graduating from the Textile Design department at Tama Art University and working at Comme des Garçons, Aizawa launched his own brand to express his ideas.
It feels as though many of today's successful individuals have their daily lives and work closely intertwined as fieldwork, and their roots, experiences, and entire thought process are distilled into a single brand concept phrase, expressed in details like textiles and forms.
At "THINK_40," we aim to delve into Aizawa's thoughts and approach to craftsmanship, alongside those who resonate with and are captivated by White Mountaineering's ever-evolving designs and style. We hope you'll join us.

AIZAWA Yosuke
Born October 25, 1977. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Textile Design, in 2000. Joined Comme des Garçons Inc. in 2001. Started White Mountaineering at Rhino Inc. in 2006. Opened the first directly managed store in Daikanyama in 2009. Presented the first collection in a runway format for the Spring/Summer 2010 season. Moved and reopened the directly managed store in Omotesando in 2011. Started exhibitions in NY the same year and established Thirteen Works Inc. as a design office. In 2012, Thirteen Works Inc. designed the award ceremony wear for the Japanese representatives at the London Olympics. For the Autumn/Winter 2013 season, presented a collection in Florence as a guest for the PITTI UOMO 83 Pitti Discovery Special Event and started exhibitions at MILAN PARI in the same season. Appointed designer for MONCLER W, a new line from Italian MONCLER, in the same year. Appointed designer for BURTON THIRTEEN, a new line from American BURTON SNOW BOARD, in 2014.
