Hashtags work better on Instagram than on Twitter!

For the past two years, my friends have been hooked on Instagram, and they often asked me, "Matthew, aren't you going to join?" At the time, I was addicted to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, and I questioned what unique appeal Instagram had compared to them. I also thought that new services would surely emerge for Instagram users. So, until about six months ago, I kept refusing to join, but I ended up getting hooked after all... However, I'm not posting from a personal account; I'm participating and posting as the NOOKA brand.





Instagram's appeal is simple: you can virtually enjoy people, places, and events through just the image and a few caption words. Additionally, the eternal mystery of social media might also be part of its popularity.

How to gain followers, how to get more "Likes" on photos – these games are undeniably fun. Personally, I make it a point not to post pictures of food. Moreover, the way hashtags are used is more refined than on Twitter, allowing you to search for any topic using a #. For example, searching for "#cloudporn" yields over 3 million images of just skies and clouds! Surfing through hashtags is also enjoyable.

However, my current dilemma is that even though I'm doing this for the NOOKA brand, I've become quite personally engrossed, which feels somewhat unhealthy. I'm not sure if there's a business value in it, but since I'm enjoying it, I think I'll continue for a while longer. If you're interested, won't you become friends with me on Instagram?
