New Project: Karl Lagerfeld x Cassina

Karl Lagerfeld, the iconic figure in fashion and creativity, has announced a new collaboration with Cassina in Paris. This marks the brand's first venture with a furniture company, launching an "Original Photographic Project." A selection of his works will be exhibited and presented at the Cassina showroom in Paris from January 31 to March 10, 2013.

Cassina, Seen Through Karl Lagerfeld's Keen Eye

Works by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, Franco Albini, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Gio Ponti, Vico Magistretti, Jean-Marie Massaud, Piero Lissoni, Rodolfo Dordoni──How will Karl Lagerfeld capture the essence of Cassina's distinctive collections through his photography?

Karl Lagerfeld, who debuted as a photographer in 1987 and has received numerous photography awards, has also published photo books, curated exhibitions, and served as guest editor for Wallpaper* and AD France.

Regarding this collaboration, Gianluca Armentani, Cassina Brand Director, commented, "Karl Lagerfeld's authentic eye highlights the uniqueness of Cassina's items, elevating their silhouettes, elegant and precise finishes, the luxury hidden in the details, and the appeal of the materials."
