Lladro's Latest Collection, a Collaboration with Three Artists

Advance Reservations Open for New "THE GUEST" Collection

Advance reservations are now being accepted until Tuesday, October 23rd, at the Lladro boutique in the Special Cutlery section on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, for the latest collection from Spain's premier porcelain art brand, Lladro: "The Guest by Lladro Atelier (Large)". A special gift awaits those who make a reservation. The pieces are scheduled for delivery between Wednesday, October 24th, and Tuesday, November 6th, during the Isetan Design Tide period.

The Latest Creation, Born from the Fusion of Emerging Artists and Lladro Artisans

The new collection, "The Guest by Lladro Atelier," was created by "Lladro Atelier," a team established by Lladro to explore new creativity, in collaboration with globally renowned artists Jaime Hayon, Devilrobots, and Tim Biskup.

Based on the distinctive forms designed by Jaime Hayon, the pieces are adorned with decorations conceived by the three artists. Lladro's artisans meticulously handcraft each one, faithfully reproducing the intricate lines, textures, and color palettes in every detail.

The collection comprises six pieces in total, available in large and small sizes. The larger pieces are offered as "Limited Editions of 250 units each," while the smaller pieces are sold as "Numbered Collections with edition numbers."

The Guest by Jaime Hayon
(Large) A piece that evokes Hayon's unique worldview, featuring motifs such as hearts, monkeys, and candy sticks.
(Small) An endearing design accented with gold foil. Both sizes feature a charming face on the back of the head.

The Guest by Devilrobots
(Large) A charming piece depicting cute characters earnestly climbing towards the eye-shaped window at the top. The "Tofu Oyaji" characters, a signature of Devilrobots, are also subtly incorporated into the design.
(Small) A striking design with a face painted entirely in black.

The Guest by Tim Biskup
Both pieces feature large, wide-open eyes and a shark-like mouth on the forehead, creating a look that is both endearing and slightly peculiar. The color gradients are exceptionally complex, making the expression of these hues a significant challenge.
