Ido Yoshimoto: Arborist and Artist
Ido Yoshimoto is an artist born and raised in Inverness, California. While creating his art, he also works as an arborist, often called a tree surgeon. Influenced by the nature of his hometown, Inverness, his work strongly reflects an intimacy with the coastal landscapes of Northern California. His father served as an assistant to J.B. Blanke, a legendary artist who was acquainted with Isamu Noguchi and Rosanjin Bōjida.
The theme of this exhibition is "A Study of Functional Forms." Inspired by basic tools used in traditional crafts such as weaving,
approximately 50 abstract artworks, expressed through sculpture, painting, and prints, will be on display. We encourage you to visit.
