Series: Masami Wake | "Messages of Gratitude and Happiness" Mother's Day 2012
FLORALUXE
The research results show that the messages are "gratitude" and "happiness"...
The most welcome Mother's Day gift is "flowers"
This year, Mother's Day falls on May 13th. The flower language of carnations is: red for "true love," "affection," and "passion"; white for "respect" and "pure love"; pink for "gratitude," "elegance," and "warm heart"; yellow for "beauty," "jealousy," "wavering affection," and "friendship"; and purple for "pride" and "dignity." Which color will you choose to give this year?

The origin of Mother's Day dates back to the aftermath of the American Civil War.
It is said to have originated when Anna Jarvis, whose mother had organized local women to improve the sanitary conditions of wounded soldiers of both sides during the war, distributed white carnations at a church on May 10, 1908, with the desire to "honor her late mother." The custom quickly spread to most states in America, and in 1914, then-U.S. President Wilson established the second Sunday in May as "Mother's Day."
Carnations were chosen for Mother's Day because they symbolized a mother's love.
It is said that the flower bloomed after the Virgin Mary wept as Christ was crucified, and the red color of the carnation's center is also said to be the color of the blood that fell from Christ's body.
The origin of its name dates back to ancient Greece. In those days, there was a custom of offering a flower crown made of carnations to Zeus, the king of the gods on Mount Olympus. Therefore, it is said to have been named "CARNATION" after the Latin word "CORONA," meaning "garland."
According to the research results on "The Ideal Mother's Day" released yesterday by a certain bio-maker, the most welcome Mother's Day gift is, as expected, "flowers." The messages to be conveyed are "gratitude" and "happiness." And the keyword is "together with family."
This year, it continues to be a day for reaffirming family bonds.
