A Valentine's bouquet with a chocolate-colored accent, instead of actual chocolate.
Chocolat-Colored Flowers: Valentine's 2012
ST. Valentine――In New York, Valentine's Day is quite different from Japan. Everywhere you look, you see scenes of adults exchanging passionate red roses.
Text & Photo by Wake Masami
Florists are far busier than chocolatiers, and the price of red roses skyrockets!
Meanwhile, children's Valentine's Day is a heartwarming affair, with red and pink hearts blooming alongside beloved characters, sparking exchanges of affection and friendship.
This year, "FLORALUXE" presents bouquets in juicy shades of raspberry and cassis pink, paired with chocolate tones.
Combining spring materials like roses, anemones, tulips, hyacinths, and lilies, with a focus on color, results in a fragrant bouquet.
And if you look, you'll find many naturally occurring chocolate hues. There's the "hot chocolate" colored Calla Lily, Chocolate Cosmos, and Cordyline leaves called "cappuccino."
We are currently developing lessons around these themes.
Why not warm up the chilly air with such passionate bouquets?
