Focusing on Four Unique Creatives and Designs
With 4,453 T-shirt variations and 304 participating artists (as of August 15, 2011), TEE PARTY has grown into a one-of-a-kind online shop thanks to its diverse content and ease of use. The heat continues, but from its vast collection, we've picked out cool T-shirts that will not only ward off the summer heat but can be worn year-round. Let us introduce four recommended designs.
The "Lodown Dash" design on the "Lodown Magazine T's" above is a photo T-shirt featuring grainy particles and a dreamlike photograph by artist ALEX FLACH. Founded in 1995 in Berlin, Lodown Magazine is a pop culture magazine that publishes five issues a year, plus one special visual-only issue annually, presenting visuals and information from around the world in a landscape format.
The "marok tee lab" on the upper left is a work by Thomas Marecki, publisher and creative director of "Marok: Lodown Magazine." He also exhibits and presents his work as an artist in various countries. His personal project, the visual book "TRAPHIC" (Unagi-Books), is also scheduled for release. His latest work, "NETAK," is a collage addressing nuclear issues.
The "LIBRO de KVINA" on the upper right is a T-shirt series featuring the Esperanto alphabet from the self-publishing series "LIBRO de KVINA," which is in three languages: Japanese, English, and Esperanto. The latest installment includes "Nova Ondo" (New Wave in Esperanto). The combination of handwritten text and illustrations is superb. The members of "LIBRO de KVINA" are Erika Kobayashi (manga artist/writer), Mina Tabe (graphic designer), Kasane Nogawa (photographer), and Hisae Maeda (illustrator).
The "Yuichi Yokoyama Neo-Manga" on the left is a T-shirt series by Yuichi Yokoyama, hailed as "Kraftwerk of the manga world." This is the seventh installment in the "KAO Series," which features "faces" as its motif, and it pairs well with the vivid body color.
