On July 30, Porsche AG announced the "911 Carrera" and "911 Carrera Cabriolet," entry-level models of the eighth-generation 911 (992 type). With their addition to the high-performance "S" and "4S" models already launched, the 911 series model range has expanded.

Equipped with a 385 PS 3.0-liter Flat-Six Turbo
The 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, newly mounted in the rear of the coupe and cabriolet versions of the new 911 Carrera, features newly adopted smaller turbines and compressors, generating a maximum output of 385 PS (283 kW), an increase of 15 PS (11 kW) over the previous generation.
Paired with a newly developed 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), it achieves 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds (4.0 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package, a further 0.2-second reduction), a top speed of 293 km/h, and a New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) fuel consumption of 9.0 L/100 km for the coupe and 9.2 L/100 km for the cabriolet. (The S models boast 450 PS, 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 308 km/h.)

The equipment and technical highlights of the 911 Carrera remain unchanged from the higher-spec "911 Carrera S" models that debuted earlier. These include an interior with a 10.9-inch touchscreen display, advanced connectivity, and assistant systems such as Porsche Wet Mode.
Visual distinctions from the S models include the tires and wheels, which are slightly smaller at 235/40ZR19 at the front and 295/35ZR20 at the rear, four-piston monobloc calipers painted black on all four wheels, 330mm diameter brake discs, and two single exhaust pipes.
