Production of Masks and Medical Shields Begins at Factory
Automobili Lamborghini has converted part of its super sports car production facility in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, into a production division for medical masks and plexiglass medical shields. The masks produced will be donated to hospitals in Bologna fighting the coronavirus.

1,000 Masks and 200 Medical Shields Produced Daily
Lamborghini's department responsible for interiors and special customization will produce 1,000 masks per day. Medical shields will be produced using 3D printers in the carbon fiber production plant and R&D department, with 200 units manufactured daily.
This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the University of Bologna, and the medical equipment produced by Lamborghini will undergo validation tests before being delivered to hospitals.
Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali commented, "In this emergency, we feel the need to contribute to society. Let's all join forces to support those on the front lines of this pandemic every day and overcome the fight against the coronavirus."
In addition, to symbolize the unity and support of all of Italy facing the emergency caused by the coronavirus, Lamborghini is illuminating its headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese with the colors of the Italian flag at dusk.
