Engine Power Increased for Both Targa 4 and Targa 4S

The Targa, the third model in the new 911 lineup following the coupe and convertible, features a Targa bar, a movable roof section above the front seats, and a wraparound rear window, just like the legendary first Targa model introduced in 1965. The roof can be opened or closed in just 19 seconds.
The 3.0-liter 6-cylinder horizontally opposed twin-turbo engine mounted at the rear produces a maximum output of 283 kW (385 PS, +15 PS from previous generation) at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1,950–5,000 rpm for the Targa 4, and a maximum output of 331 kW (450 PS, +30 PS from previous generation) and a maximum torque of 530 Nm at 2,300–5,000 rpm for the Targa 4S.
Paired with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the optional Sport Chrono Package, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is 4.2 seconds (0.1 seconds faster) for the Targa 4 and 3.6 seconds (0.4 seconds faster) for the 4S. Top speeds are officially announced as 289 km/h (2 km/h increase) for the Targa 4 and 304 km/h (3 km/h increase) for the 4S.
Both models come standard with the Porsche Active Suspension Management system (PASM). Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is optional on the Targa 4 and standard on the 4S, and Porsche Wet Mode is also standard.
The Targa 4 features front 235/40R19 and rear 295/35R20 ZR tires with 330mm brake discs and black 4-piston monobloc fixed calipers. The 4S is equipped with front 245/35R20 and rear 305/30R21 ZR tires, and 350mm front 6-piston and rear 4-piston red-painted calipers.
Compared to the previous model, the exterior is characterized by more pronounced wheel arches and a bonnet with a distinctive indentation reminiscent of the original 911. The outer panels, excluding the front and rear sections, are made of aluminum.
The interior features a linear dashboard and recessed instruments, evoking the 1970s 911 Carrera.
The price for the 911 Targa 4 is 17.29 million yen, and for the Targa 4S it is 20.60 million yen.
