Special Specification for V6 Models Only
Among Porsche's four-door sedans, the "Panamera" now sees the debut of the "Panamera Edition," a special specification model based on the entry-grade V6 engine variant. Two models will be introduced in Japan: the basic "Panamera Edition" and its four-wheel-drive counterpart, the "Panamera 4 Edition."
Special features include high-gloss black trim around the side windows on the exterior, and 19-inch alloy wheels in a "Panamera Turbo II" design with a colored Porsche Crest at the center. When the optional keyless entry function "Porsche Entry & Drive" is selected, the door handles will match the body color.
The interior is finished in a two-tone black and beige scheme with partial leather, and the Porsche Crest is embossed on the headrests of the seats. Additionally, it comes equipped with a Sport Design steering wheel, door sills bearing "Edition" logos, dedicated floor mats, and a BOSE Surround Sound system with a total output of 585W and 14 speakers.
Furthermore, it includes PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), bi-xenon headlights with PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System), front and rear ParkAssist with a reversing camera, and Power Steering Plus as standard manufacturer options.
Sales in Japan began on April 15th, with the rear-wheel-drive "Panamera Edition" priced at 10.37 million yen and the four-wheel-drive "Panamera 4 Edition" at 11.31 million yen. Both are available only with a 7-speed PDK and right-hand drive.
