30 PS Power Boost

The engine in the limited-edition "C 63 AMG Performance +" utilizes special parts such as forged pistons, connecting rods, and crankshafts found in the SLS AMG supercar. This results in a significant power increase of 30 PS over the standard model, bringing the total output to 487 PS, while also reducing weight and sharpening responsiveness for even greater dynamic performance.

In terms of equipment, the vehicle boasts an AMG enhanced brake system with aluminum composite front brakes for improved heat dissipation, and a limited-slip differential for superior control during cornering, further enhancing its dynamic capabilities. Additionally, numerous exclusive features such as red-painted brake calipers, matte black painted/polished rim 19-inch multi-spoke forged alloy wheels, and a carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler lip lend the exterior an even more aggressive and dynamic presence.

The interior is meticulously crafted by skilled master artisans, featuring high-quality Nappa leather on the dashboard, upper door trims, and center armrest, accented with color-coordinated stitching. This special Nappa leather interior trim creates an atmosphere of exceptional quality and exclusivity befitting a special edition. The steering wheel is an AMG Performance steering wheel, clad in Alcantara for a comfortable, non-slip grip.

This special edition, featuring an enhanced engine, numerous exclusive appointments, and a specially finished interior, is priced at 12.5 million yen, a premium of 1.9 million yen over the base C 63 AMG model.

BRAND HISTORY
When tracing the history of the automobile, two German pioneers emerge: Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. It is widely known that these two men independently developed gasoline-powered automobiles between 1885 and 1886, laying the foundation for the automotive society we know today. Although their respective automotive companies were once seen as rivals, they joined forces to overcome the post-World War I recession, leading to the establishment of Daimler-Benz AG through their merger in 1926.

The name "Mercedes," given to the products, originated when Emil Jellinek, a customer of Daimler's, requested that his eldest daughter's name be used for vehicles sold outside Germany. This trademark was officially registered by Daimler in 1902.

Thus born, Mercedes and subsequently Mercedes-Benz have consistently led the advancement of the automotive industry, actively introducing cutting-edge technologies such as the safety passenger cell, airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and Night View.
