Celebrating 13 Years of the New MINI in Japan

March 2nd, known as "Mini Day" due to a wordplay, also marks the anniversary of the "New MINI"'s launch in Japan in 2002, under the BMW umbrella. To commemorate this 13th anniversary, a special package will be available for the third-generation, latest "MINI."

The special commemorative package, "MINI 13th Anniversary Package," is based on the AT model of the "MINI Cooper 3 Door." It includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED fog lamps, leather seats, piano black interior surfaces, a navigation system, and chrome mirror caps. Body color options are Pepper White & Black Roof or Iced Chocolate Metallic & White Roof (metallic paint surcharge applies).

While the optional equipment alone is worth approximately 1 million yen, the price is kept to 3.5 million yen, a 700,000 yen increase over the base model. Only 130 units will be available nationwide, with sales starting February 24th (Tuesday). Furthermore, cars equipped with this commemorative package will be on display at MINI dealerships across the country from February 28th (Saturday) to March 1st (Sunday).

Special Cafe Collaboration with Nestlé

In addition, to celebrate Mini Day, a collaboration with Nestlé will also take place. Under the theme "MINI Café produced by NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto," MINI showrooms nationwide will feature the "Nescafé Dolce Gusto Genio2 MINI," Nestlé's capsule coffee system, offering tasting services to visitors.

This special cafe opens on February 28th (Saturday). The Nescafé Dolce Gusto Genio2 MINI units installed at each location are special editions featuring MINI's iconic twin stripes on the side. They will be available for purchase through the Nestlé online shop starting February 27th (Friday). This model is a limited production item that includes accessories such as a travel mug with the MINI logo.

Furthermore, a Nescafé collaboration design car based on the "MINI One 5 Door" will be exhibited at the BMW Group Studio in Marunouchi, Tokyo, from March 2nd (Tuesday) to March 13th (Friday).
