Announced at Salon du Chocolat 2015

To coincide with the "Salon du Chocolat 2015" event hosted by Isetan Shinjuku, Renault Japon announced the "Lutecia Ganache," a special edition car inspired by chocolate.

Salon du Chocolat, a celebration of chocolate originating in Paris, is in its 13th year. This year, the venue has moved from Isetan Shinjuku to the Shinjuku NS Building, gathering 100 brands from 15 countries worldwide. From January 20th (Tuesday) to 25th (Sunday), for six days, chocolatiers and patissiers will showcase their creations.

The special edition Lutecia Ganache, unveiled by Renault at the opening ceremony, is a limited model based on the "Lutecia Intense," which features a 1.2-liter engine paired with a dual-clutch transmission. It is finished in a body color reminiscent of chocolate, "Maron Ardent Metallic."

The interior and exterior feature the "Pack Couleur" color coordination package, unifying the wheels, dashboard, seats, and door trims in colors that evoke the image of chocolate. Additionally, it comes with a special equipment: a Pioneer full-segment compatible SD navigation system.

Despite the added special colors and equipment, the price remains the same as the base vehicle at 2,448,000 yen. It will be sold in a limited edition of 100 units starting January 20th.
