Mercedes-Benz's Beautiful Flagship Coupe

The S Class Coupe announced this time is based on the concept car "Tokyo Motor Show" unveiled at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show and the Tokyo Motor Show.Concept S-Class Coupe" Concept S-Class Coupe," and this marks the first coupe to bear the "S" name in 18 years. The new model was developed under the concept of "Modern Luxury & Intelligence," born as Mercedes' top-tier sporty coupe that harmoniously blends elements demanded of a car, such as safety, comfort, and efficiency, with design at a high level.



The exterior boasts the proportions of a large coupe with its long nose and short deck, while achieving an elegant yet sporty form through a sleek roofline and frameless windows. A design highlight is the dedicated LED high-performance headlights, each unit incorporating 47 Swarovski crystals that emit a captivating glow.



The interior featuresS-Classa beautiful and elegant design inherited from the S-Class, which seems to gently envelop its occupants. The cabin materials use the finest leather and wood down to the smallest details, luxuriously finished by the meticulous craftsmanship of artisans. Furthermore, the front seat backrests contain 14 air cushions, offering a massage function to ensure comfort on long drives.



Advanced driver assistance systems, including the "Radar Safety Package," are equipped with the latest technology, covering a 360° radius around the vehicle using a combination of cameras and radar sensors. By analyzing real-time information from sensors installed throughout the car, it achieves "partial autonomous driving" by automatically assisting with acceleration, braking, and steering.



The lineup consists of three models: the "S 550 4MATIC Coupe" combining a 4.7-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with a full-time 4WD system; the "S 63 AMG 4MATIC" featuring a Mercedes-AMG 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo and AMG-exclusive 4WD system; and the "S65 AMG Coupe," the top-tier Mercedes-AMG model with a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine and rear-wheel drive. Additionally, a limited "Edition1" model was released to commemorate the S Coupe's debut, with 188 units of the "S 550 4MATIC Coupe" and 42 units of the "S 63 AMG 4MATIC." The highly anticipated S Class Coupe is priced between 16.9 million and 31.2 million yen.
