A Rounded Body Evoking the 2CV

On September 3rd, Citroën released a photograph on the social networking service "Facebook." The model depicted in this image, with its rounded body lines concealed by a black veil, sparked widespread speculation: "Is this the return of the legendary 2CV?!"

Now, a second teaser photo has been released, confirming the rounded body lines. The shape appears to be that of a five-door hatchback, with large wheels and slim headlights also visible. While not definitively clear, the rear doors also seem to open with reverse hinges.

There are whispers that this concept car might be a precursor to the next "C2," positioned as a smaller sibling to the C3, or perhaps it could be the "DS4" or "DS5," following the DS3.

Citroën announced, "Its originality will surely surprise you." The full reveal is scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show (10 AM local time on the 15th).
