Fiat Chrysler Japan will launch limited edition models of the Fiat compact car "500" and its open-top version "500C," inspired by gelato, on June 14th.

Evoking a Gelato Vacation
Special limited edition models of Fiat's compact car "500" and its open-top version "500C," inspired by gelato, Italy's quintessential summer dessert, are set to arrive. These models, with a limited production of 250 units, are aptly named "500 Gelato" and "500C Gelato."
Both models are based on the "TwinAir Pop" powertrain, which combines an 875cc two-cylinder turbo engine delivering 85ps and 14.8kgm of torque with a 5-speed single-clutch transmission. It features an ECO mode and an idling stop function, boasting fuel efficiency of 24 km/ℓ.
The body color, designed to evoke the atmosphere of enjoying an Italian vacation with gelato in hand, is Vanilla Yellow, reminiscent of vanilla-flavored gelato. The interior features a combination of ivory and chocolate, with the 500C's power-folding roof finished in ivory, like a dollop of cream on top.
The vehicle prices, including tax, are 2,257,200 yen for the "500 Gelato" (limited to 150 units) and 2,570,400 yen for the "500C Gelato" (limited to 80 units).
