Sporty Body with Abundant Special Features

To commemorate the first anniversary of the new A-Class's launch in Japan, special edition models have now been announced.



The "A 180 Edition Style" is based on the entry-level "A 180," equipped with a 1.6-liter direct-injection turbo engine. It is available in two exterior colors: Calcite White and Jupiter Red. The interior and exterior feature special design elements unique to this edition, including a body with chrome accents, and a front grille, seats, and interior trim in the same color, further enhancing the style and sportiness that have become hallmarks of the new A-Class.

Additionally, it comes with special equipment such as the "Safety Package," which includes the automatic braking system COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, and the "Value Package," which includes bi-xenon headlights and Active Parking Assist for automatic steering during parallel parking.


Meanwhile, the "A 250 SPORT Edition Night" is based on the "A 250 SPORT," which was developed with input from AMG from the initial stages of design and features dedicated suspension components. The 2-liter direct-injection turbo engine produces a maximum output of 210 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm.

This model features an aggressive Cosmo Black body color, a silver diamond grille with a gloss black finish, and gloss black window line trim, creating a unified black exterior. Furthermore, a red line on the front spoiler adds a striking contrast.



It is also equipped with the "Safety Package" driver assistance system and heated front seats.



The price, including 5% consumption tax, is 3.3 million yen for the "A 180 Edition Style," with a total of 800 units available (550 in white and 250 in red). The "A 250 SPORT Edition Night" is priced at 4.5 million yen, 300,000 yen higher than the base model, with a limited production of 200 units. Deliveries for both are scheduled to begin in early February.
