Toffee Brown Metallic Body Color, Inspired by Chocolate, Makes its Japan Debut

In anticipation of Valentine's Day, three playful and delicious chocolate-inspired special edition models of The Beetle have arrived.

These models are based on the entry-grade "The Beetle Design" equipped with a 1.2-liter turbo engine, and are distinguished by their newly introduced body and interior colors for the Japanese market. The "Choco" features a Toffee Brown Metallic body, making its Japan debut, evoking the subtle sweetness of chocolate. The interior is appointed with gentle beige fabric seats.

The "Milk" boasts a Candy White body color reminiscent of fresh milk, while the "Bitter" features a Black Pearl Effect body color inspired by premium cacao. Both are paired with interiors in a unique two-tone combination of black and red, never before seen in Japan.

All models come standard with convenient features such as Park Distance Control for parking, bi-xenon headlights with LED position lamps, and a Smart Entry & Start system. Furthermore, the wheels are enhanced with exclusive 17-inch alloy rims.

Sales of these distinctive The Beetle models begin on January 28 (Tuesday). To coincide, a Valentine's Fair will be held at all authorized Volkswagen dealerships on February 1 (Saturday) and 2 (Sunday). The price for each model is ¥2.87 million, ¥320,000 higher than the base model. The "Choco" will be limited to 300 units, while the "Milk" and "Bitter" will each be limited to 250 units, for a total of 800 units across the three models.
