A Special Sporty Edition for Japanese Fans
MINI Cooper receives a special "MINI Speedgate" specification with a sporty finish, exclusive to Japan. It will be sold in a limited run of 294 units starting Saturday, January 11.

98 Units of Each Color, Honoring Cooper
The "MINI," a hatchback model loved worldwide, including in Japan. Last year'sTokyo Motor Showsaw a slight increase in size.new modelis still fresh in our memory. While sales are planned to begin in Japan this spring, the current model remains highly popular due to its approachable size and high level of refinement, even in its final stages.
The "MINI Speedgate" is a special limited edition created exclusively for Japanese MINI fans. To maximize MINI's "go-kart feeling," it features sporty design and equipment, and is produced at the Oxford plant in the UK, MINI's homeland.
The exterior boasts exclusive checkerboard-motif stickers on the sides and rear, creating a racing aesthetic. The interior is equipped with a special plate, sports seats, and a sports steering wheel.
Furthermore, by modifying the AT shift program and power steering assist levels, it offers a more exciting drive with features like a sport button. Despite incorporating equipment worth approximately ¥450,000, the price is kept to ¥2.89 million, a ¥150,000 increase over the base model (metallic paint finish is extra).
Body colors include three options: Chili Red (red tones), Pepper White (white tones), and British Racing Green II Metallic (green tones). In line with the Cooper's 98 units, production is limited to 98 units per color, totaling 294 units. Additionally, debut events will be held at authorized dealerships from Saturday, January 11 to Monday, January 13 (holiday).
