Refinements Focused on the Chassis
The HS250h, launched in July 2009, is a premium sedan and the first hybrid-exclusive model in the Lexus brand. HS stands for "Harmonious Sedan," developed under the concept of "harmony" with people and the planet through excellent environmental performance and practicality. While its interior and exterior exude a sense of quality, its 2.4-liter inline-4 engine boasts a fuel economy of 23 km/L, claimed to be top-class for its displacement.
This latest partial refinement includes improvements to the suspension specifications, further enhancing handling on rough roads and driving stability.
A vehicle approach notification system has been added as a safety feature, and a new "Mercury Gray Mica" color has been adopted for the body.
Special Edition Added with Popular Features
Furthermore, the newly introduced special edition "Harmonious Leather Interior" is based on the standard grade, featuring new genuine leather seats and a premium feel enhanced by a dedicated two-tone color scheme throughout the interior. It also comes standard with popular features like Plasmacluster and LED scuff plates. Exterior dress-up options include 18-inch aluminum wheels and spoilers (front/rear bumper/trunk lid), making it well-equipped for exterior customization. A total of seven body colors are available, including the special "Starlight Black Glass Flake."
There are no changes to the grades, and the price increase compared to the pre-refinement models has been kept to 20,000 yen for each. The special edition "Harmonious Leather Interior" is priced at 4.23 million yen.
