Enhanced features alongside special body colors

The "Golf Touran" and "Sharan," popular among Volkswagen models for their family-friendly nature and versatility, now have special edition "Glänzen" models, a name derived from German meaning "to shine," "to be brilliant," or "to excel." Both feature stylish exterior enhancements, including 16-inch alloy wheels with a dedicated design, and upgraded equipment such as bi-xenon headlights.


The "Golf Touran Glänzen" is equipped with a 1.4-liter TSI engine featuring a supercharger and a 7-speed DSG transmission, delivering a maximum output of 103 kW (140 ps) at 5,600 rpm and peak torque of 220 Nm (22.4 kgm) at 1,250-4,000 rpm, with upgraded styling and features.


Inside, a dual-zone automatic climate control system enhances comfort. The body color palette includes the popular "Acapulco Blue Metallic" from the SUV-styled "Cross Touran," offered alongside "Candy White."

The "Sharan," a slightly larger minivan than the "Golf Touran," shares the same powertrain: a downsized 1.4-liter turbo engine paired with a 6-speed DSG transmission, producing a maximum output of 110 kW (150 ps) at 5,800 rpm and peak torque of 240 Nm (24.5 kgm) at 1,500-4,000 rpm.


This special edition is equipped with the "Keyless Access" smart entry and start system and a power tailgate. The special body color "Indium Grey Metallic," offering a robust and expressive look, is introduced for 350 units, while the popular "Candy White" is available for a limited 150 units.


The price for the Golf Touran Glänzen is 3.15 million yen, a 160,000 yen increase over the base grade, while the Sharan Glänzen is priced at 4.09 million yen.
