An "architecture" expressing Lexus's worldview?

This year, Lexus participated in "Milan Design Week" for the first time in four years, and its 'amazing flow' installation was met with great acclaim. amazing flowInstead of the usual car exhibition, the installation, supervised by world-renowned architectToyo Itoand created by emerging architectAkihisa Hiratawas received with surprise.



The installation, embodying Lexus's aspiration to "enrich lifestyles through excellent design," focuses on the "flow" of nature and humanity. By presenting an experience that engages multiple senses, it invited contemplation on the future of the urban landscape.



"LEXUS DESIGN AMAZING 2013 TOKYO" at "Tokyo Designers Week 2013" will feature the Japanese premiere of 'amazing flow.' Visitors can experience it through its structure and visual elements.

'amazing flow' is a sculptural work by architect Akihisa Hirata.

'Making Porcelain with an ORIGAMI' features ceramics crafted using paper molds.

Additionally, at "INTERSECT BY LEXUS - TOKYO," a satellite venue for "LEXUS DESIGN AMAZING 2013 TOKYO," award-winning works from the second "Lexus Design Award" competition, held in April to foster next-generation creators, will be exhibited. Among them, Hitomi Igarashi's award-winning piece, ' INTERSECT BY LEXUS - TOKYOMaking Porcelain with an ORIGAMI,' which uses paper molds to create delicate porcelain, will be displayed alongside 12 award-winning works from the first competition, presented on panels.Making Porcelain with an ORIGAMIwill be exhibited alongside 12 award-winning works from the first competition, presented on panels.
