Although it bears the name "Cross," it is not a full-fledged cross-country model, but rather a vehicle that asserts a sporty lifestyle with its SUV-like equipment. Volkswagen already has the "Cross Polo", "Cross Golf", and "Cross Touran", and with the addition of the up!, this is the fourth model in the "Cross" series, which has a similar concept.

The exterior features under protectors, sporty bumpers, and black wheel arches that give it a tough impression. The black side protector moldings on the doors are inscribed with the "cross up!" logo. The roof and side mirrors are silver, another distinctive feature of the Cross up!.

The wheels are fitted with 185/50 size tires and 16-inch "Cross" alloy wheels. Combined with the 15mm higher ride height, they emphasize its sharp and active appearance.

This is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission, achieving 0-100 km/h in 14.2 seconds and a top speed of 167 km/h. It boasts high environmental performance with a European fuel consumption of 4.7 L/100 km (approximately 22.2 km/L) and CO2 emissions of 109 g/km.
