An "NOT NORMAL" Experience

“Not Normal” as its new catchphrase, MINI has pursued the joy of driving by incorporating maximum performance into a compact size. It offers a lineup of uniquely original models such as the wagon-type “Clubman” and the SUV “Crossover.”


Much like MINI, Alexa Meade is an American artist currently drawing attention in the contemporary art world for her unique presence. She has established her own distinctive style by directly applying paint onto skin, clothing, and objects, then photographing the results to create images that appear like paintings through the use of trompe-l'œil techniques. This time, a collaboration where MINI serves as the canvas has been realized, and a performance will unfold at SHIBUYA 109.

At the event, not only will you be able to witness Meade live as she paints on three-dimensional objects, but you can also take photos with a MINI painted by her. Furthermore, a campaign is running on the website until September 9 (Monday) where you can experience Meade's painting and become part of the artwork yourself.
