A Relaxing Space to Experience Lexus

"INTERSECT BY LEXUS" is a hub for Lexus brand activities, themed around "connecting with the city, and where people and cars can meet," unlike a typical showroom. The first of these brand experience spaces, planned for global rollout, opens in Aoyama.

The first floor features "Garage," an exhibition space proposing car culture and lifestyle. It also houses a coffee stand by Norway's long-established coffee bar "FUGLEN," with the concept of being "the best coffee shop in town."

Ascend the staircase, inspired by Lexus car parts, to find the "CRAFTED FOR LEXUS" corner. Here, 18 types of items, created in collaboration with 14 companies that share the concept of "lifestyle items proposed with Japanese artisans," will be sold. Beyond that, a library lounge unfolds in a calm space, with the concept of "Tokyo food for the current era."



The interior design was handled by Masamichi Katayama (Wonderwall). He created a space that reinterprets Lexus elements and craftsmanship—such as the facade screen inspired by the spindle grille, the wall of car parts, and the restroom ceiling covered in miniature cars—while maintaining a subtle balance.

Additionally, tableware is by Yoshiko Ueno (SyuRo), sound production by Towa Tei, and scent production by the aroma brand yuica.

"INTERSECT BY LEXUS" is also planned for future expansion to overseas locations such as New York and Dubai.
