SL-Class Equipment Details Revised



Mercedes-Benz Japan has revised the specifications of its flagship roadster, theSL-ClassSL-Class. The "SL 350" and "SL 550" now come standard with the "AMG Sports Package" for both interior and exterior, further enhancing their appeal.

AMG Performance Package's Exclusive Wheels Now Matte Black



Tracing its lineage back to the legendary gullwing "300 SL" released in 1952,debuted in Japan last Marchthe sixth-generation "SL-Class".

It features a traditional, flowing long-nose, short-deck styling, and incorporates advanced technologies such as a full aluminum body shell in the current model.

The most notable aspect of this specification revision is that the "AMG Sports Package," which emphasizes the sporty character of the interior and exterior, is now standard on the "SL 350" and "SL 550" at no additional cost.

In addition to exterior enhancements like a front spoiler and rear skirt, and 19-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels that heighten its sharp impression, the interior features an AMG sports steering wheel and specially designed sports seats with white piping.

Furthermore, for theSL63 AMG"AMG Performance Package," exclusively for the "SL63 AMG," the wheel color has been changed to matte black, a finish gaining attention in recent years. The optional price remains unchanged from the previous model at 1.95 million yen (tax included).

Pricing starts at 11.9 million yen for the "SL 350" with its 3.5-liter V6 engine, 15.6 million yen for the "SL 550" with its 4.7-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, 19.8 million yen for the "SL 63 AMG" with its 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, and 30.5 million yen for the "SL 65 AMG" with its 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine.
