Porsche has unveiled a special "911 Carrera 4S" created by its fans on Facebook.

Porsche 911's 50th AnniversaryOne of the initiatives was centered on Facebook. To over 5 million fans who "liked" Porsche's official Facebook wall, Porsche announced, "Dear Porsche fans. You decide the car's details. We will build it for you. Here is a one-of-a-kind 911 Carrera 4S. Porsche Exclusive's experts will add their touch."

The special 911, which was created through approximately 54,000 votes, features an Aqua Blue Metallic body color. It is equipped with 20-inch "Carrera S" wheels, finished in white.

It is fitted with the "Aerokit Cup" package, comprising a front apron with a spoiler lip and a special rear wing, and the door trim reads "Personally built by 5 Million Porsche Fans."

Furthermore, until August 19th, a campaign is underway: "In gratitude for your votes, we invite you and one of your friends to drive this special 911 at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone."

This contest measures how many Porsche fans are on your Facebook friend list, with the person having the most Porsche fan friends invited to Silverstone. The 2nd to 10th place winners will receive a 1:43 scale model.

Incidentally, this 911 Carrera 4S appears to produce 316 kW (430 PS), exceeding the standard 294 kW (400 PS) engine specifications.
