On July 13th, the East Japan Charity Live Event "FREEDOMMUNE 0 <ZERO> ONE THOUSAND 2013" was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. A total of 91 artists performed, attracting 15,000 attendees. The live stream on USTREAM recorded 1.38 million viewers.

The event's leader, graphic designer Naohiro Ukawa, launched the live-streaming site and studio "DOMMUNE" in 2010. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, he has regularly held festivals to support disaster-stricken areas.

This time, a collaboration between DOMMUNE and the Lexus "New IS" has been realized. A unique setup was prepared where attendees could control 3D projection mapping, projected onto a giant three-dimensional screen, from the cockpit of the new Lexus IS installed within the venue. The illustrations for this were created by the globally acclaimed creative company "Rhizomatiks."

Once inside the car placed at the center of the stage, the main venue's giant screen unfolds before your eyes. The steering movements are perfectly synchronized with the visuals, taking you on a virtual test drive of approximately two minutes. With added game-like elements, it feels like a colossal arcade. If you skillfully align the sights with the visuals, the voice "AMAZING" echoes inside the car, filling you with exhilaration. After the attraction, you can even share the experience with others as your own original movie is distributed.

That day also featured a live performance by Towa Tei, a talk show by Jakucho Setouchi, honorary chief priest of Tendai Buddhism and a novelist, and a performance by "Yoshihide Otomo & Amachan Special Big Band," led by Yoshihide Otomo, who composed the music for the NHK serial TV novel "Amachan."

The highlight of the event was the live performance by Isao Tomita, the "World's Tomita" and a pioneer of Japanese electronic music. His electronic music show, utilizing "Dawn Chorus" – a natural phenomenon caused by solar flares affecting the Earth's magnetic field – enveloped the cosmos with a magnificent melody, like the chirping of forest birds celebrating the dawn.

The one-night-only collaboration between DOMMUNE and the Lexus "New IS" concluded amidst an intoxicating world of sound, with intense dance beats, lively talk events, and overwhelming live performances, leaving the audience buzzing with energy.
