Special 50th Anniversary Lamborghinis Arrive in Japan

9 Units Allocated to Japan
Celebrating its 50th anniversary,350 Bulls Return Homewas recently held in Italy, a memorable event for Lamborghini.
This year has seen the debut of the flagship open-top sports car, the "Aventador Roadster", the concept model "Egoista", and the bespoke model "Veneno", and the production decision for the SUV "Urus". Among these celebratory models for Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, two have now arrived in Japan: the "Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50° Aniversario" and the "Gallardo LP 560-2 50° Aniversario."
For the Aventador anniversary model, in addition to the "Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50° Aniversario" unveiled in Japan, a coupe version, the "Aventador LP 720-4 50° Aniversario," is also available. As the name suggests, this is a special version with a maximum output of 720 hp, an increase of 20 hp over the standard Aventador.
The body color unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show is a new shade called "Giallo Maggio" (May Yellow), named to celebrate Lamborghini's founding in May 1963, a signature color for the brand.
The prominent front and rear aerodynamic parts significantly enhance aerodynamic performance without a substantial increase in drag compared to the standard Aventador, ensuring stable handling at the extreme high speeds of this commemorative model, which boasts a top speed of 350 km/h.
The model presented in Japan features a "Grigio Titans" body color. Lamborghini Japan states that any imaginable color can be ordered through their customization program, "Ad Personam."
The interior is luxuriously appointed with natural semi-aniline leather. In addition to the yellow and black interior shown in Shanghai, the "Terra Emilia" color is available for the model released in Japan. This color evokes the earth tones of Emilia-Romagna, Lamborghini's home region in Italy.
The "Aventador LP720-4 50° Aniversario" is available in both coupe and roadster models, each limited to 100 units worldwide. Japan's allocation for each is nine units. The price for the roadster model released in Japan is ¥55,988,100.
12 Gallardos for Japan
Meanwhile, the "Gallardo LP560-2 50° Aniversario" features a carbon fiber rear wing inherited from the "Super Trofeo" and a transparent engine cover. Specific details include white turn signals on the body sides and dark gray 19-inch wheels as exclusive equipment. The Alcantara-trimmed interior features stitching in the same color as the brake calipers on the carbon fiber sports seats.
The body is finished in a special white called "Bianco Opales," and with 560 hp, its maximum output is currently the highest for a rear-wheel-drive Gallardo.
There are just under 90 units produced worldwide, with 12 allocated to Japan, priced at ¥22,916,250.
Incidentally, not limited to these two models, all Lamborghini models manufactured in 2013 will feature a 50th-anniversary emblem inside. The one on the Aventador anniversary models is made of forged composite with a serial number.
