The "smart fortwo," described as the "ultimate urban mobility that densely condenses maximum safety, comfort, convenience, and environmental compatibility," features a stylish, 2.7-meter-long body with the "tridion safety cell" for high occupant protection. Now, a limited model, the "smart fortwo mhd edition cityflame," has been introduced.



The most distinctive feature of this model is the adoption of a vibrant yellow, called "flame yellow," for its body panels. This yellow body is sharply contrasted by a black tridion safety cell, front grille frame, headlights, door mirror covers, and specially designed 15-inch aluminum wheels.



The interior complements the exterior with a two-tone finish of black and yellow. The specially designed leather seats come standard with seat heaters. Additionally, yellow stitching adorns the leather-look dashboard, the 3-spoke leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, and the shift knob.



Priced at 1.93 million yen, an increase of 90,000 yen over the base price, only 80 units will be available.



To coincide with this announcement, an original comic movie has also been released. Described as a "drama-style work created based on the concept of this special edition model, it condenses the appeal of energetically and sportily navigating the city."
