A Lamborghini to Enjoy Solely for Yourself
The "Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Grand Giro" event, celebrating 50 years of Lamborghini, was held in Italy, gathering approximately 350 Lamborghinis from around the world.
During this event, Automobili Lamborghini held the world premiere of its new concept car, the "Egoista." This vehicle wasWalter de Silvadesigned by his team.
In fact, this Egoista is fundamentally different from any previous Lamborghini model. This car is a single-seater. In other words, it's for "one person only."
Named "Egoista," meaning "egoist" or "selfish person," for the joy and pleasure of driving that can be exclusively possessed, the Lamborghini is a single-seater, so naturally, there is only one seat, positioned in the center. There are no doors; entry and exit are facilitated by the orange canopy section opening forward.
The cockpit is also tight, unlike any car's driver's seat. This is understandable, as the Egoista's cockpit is said to be inspired by the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter's cockpit, even featuring a large HUD (Head-Up Display) above the instrument panel, similar to a fighter jet.
It is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, producing a maximum output of 600 horsepower.
