New High-Performance "Performance Package" Introduced

Born from the development theme of "seamless driving enjoyment from public roads to the circuit," Lexus' high-performance "F" models began with the IS F in 2007. The recently updated RC F features improvements focused on weight reduction and aerodynamic performance.

For driving dynamics, newly developed tires aim to enhance handling and control at the limit. Increased rigidity in components such as engine mounts, suspension member bushings, and steering rack bushings also contributes to improved stability during circuit driving and spirited maneuvers.

The 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine now produces 354kW (481ps) and 353Nm (54.6kgm) of torque. Revisions to the air cleaner shape for improved intake efficiency and refined throttle control enhance accelerator response.

The exterior design prominently incorporates aerodynamic elements honed in racing. Canard-shaped elements at the corners of the front spoiler enhance downforce, while an undercut at the rear of the rocker molding near the wheels reduces turbulence around the rear tires, improving aerodynamics and creating a distinctive look.



Furthermore, air outlets are integrated into the front and rear wheel arches to reduce pressure buildup within the wheel wells. This is said to contribute to optimal cornering attitude and improved steering response.

Additionally, a new high-performance "Performance Package" has been introduced. Applying technologies cultivated in motorsports, such as Japan's Super GT and the American Daytona 24 Hours, this package achieves further weight reduction through exterior components made of CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced plastic), carbon-ceramic brakes, and a titanium muffler, while also enhancing acceleration and aerodynamic performance.

The interior of the "Performance Package" features exclusive Flare Red interior colors and dedicated Red Carbon ornamental panels.

Pricing starts at ¥10,210,909, with the "Carbon Exterior Package" at ¥10,996,364, and the newly established "Performance Package" at ¥14,040,000.
